Every day I think I am so lucky, the life I lead is a good one. I miss my children, they are in the UK & Vancouver, but if I was still living as before, my life would be so busy and stressful and I might not have survived it. I might have curled up and shut life out. Oh what I would have missed!
Sometimes life becomes a rush and we rarely stop to appreciate that we have one-a life, we are alive.
I am not a church goer, I care about the world and others in my own way. My faith was called to question when I was nineteen. I had been a Sunday school teacher until then, just in case you want to judge me. My version of a Christian is slightly different to others and I practice my version in my own way. Some of you have read my story What is a Christian? The Story of Baby Wanted.
Anyway I am babbling on here, what I wanted to share was this lovely YouTube video I came across. Take a moment and appreciate the fact you have a life and a chance to make a difference in the world. We bloggers are making a difference to the world, we are uniting countries by blogging. Our thoughts and views are aired around the world and we read those of others. We touch the lives of the lonely and they touch ours. That is a BIG thing; I can read a blog and be inspired, cry for the writer or laugh at their humour. My previous life would not allow me the time for these things.
Take a moment and appreciate the fact you have a life and a chance to make a difference in the world.
Did I hear you say you don't know how? You have no talent?
Well just smile, go on smile (or a friendly nod) at the next person you see, acknowledge that they exist. It is infectious, they will smile back and the chances are they will go on to smile at others. See the world is brighter already!
I love the film Pay It Forward, I am not brave nor big hearted enough to do the things in the film, but I do try and do the little things that help improve life for others and being human, I am selfish so yes, the little things get done to make my life better too. It isn't always about money, cars and being the best. It is about being alive.
Thank You my blogging friend for touching my life, and making me smile, for making me feel alive and that I have value in the world.

2 The Wise Ones Speak:
I'm glad you're alive, my friend!
The older I get, the more I like being alive!
