Bank Holiday Weather Let Down

Today is Green Monday/Clean Monday, here in Cyprus. Families gather and fly kites, and eat only vegetables, fruit and certain fish. No meat BBQ's are eaten. In the past the weather has been glorious, but last year and this have been wet and miserable. After having such a glorious Spring weekend, it is a shame to wake up to hail and thunder storms.

The Mardi Gras parties will not go ahead, which is sad when so much planning is put into them. However, the carnival did go ahead a few days ago. These are a couple of videos I found that share the event. It is a chance for schools and clubs of all types to show off their costumes.
