Advertising Posts on my Blog: How I spend the money I earn

As you are aware, I run advertising posts for various companies on this blog. I thought is would be nice to share with you want I spent the income on.

I mainly work with Blogsvertise, and adsense, but now I also receive private requests for adverts in posts or on the side-bar. My income has been topped up by these opportunities and the blog is now a valuable source of leisure money for me.

• I have purchased nursery items for my first grandchild. 
• Purchased a return ticket from Cyprus to UK
• Treated myself to many new craft items - many!
• Purchased 75 books (over a period of a year), via Book Depository (they accept paypal and that is where my money goes into. Plus they deliver free worldwide, so I send as gifts too!)
• Purchased software to enable my writing career to move forward
• Purchased Christmas and birthday gifts via the Internet 
• Donated to three charity events
• Adsense payments = paid for my annual water bill last year!

As you can see, my earnings have given me so much pleasure and opportunities. If you are wondering whether to monetize your blog, I would say do so.
